They overcharged me and provided a dirty car with malfunctioning locks. This led to me and my son getting locked out on a cold remote beach. Yet Hertz only refunded a small part of what I (over)paid.

I'm a Hertz #1 Gold member and I got a high-mileage, beat-up car. The agent was rude when I asked about recording the damage before leaving. Take a hotel shuttle bus and call über.

Make sure you have cash/quarters for tolls to avoid their daily charge (4.95 pluss toll amount) to use the sunpass/ezpass.
