bact'9월 23, 2014Train to central London: Thameslink and Southern Line are cheaper alternatives to Gatwick Express. You can save more than £5. Choose "NOT Gatwick Express" on ticket machine.

Mark Lee1월 29, 2020Gate 10 South Terminal is a little confusing. Don’t take the travelator, walk along the left past gate 10A and there you are .. there’s a group 1 priority boarding lane that takes you to front of q.
If you're flying with Virgin, then go to the lounge / clubhouse and pay £45 to use the lounge, its the only way to start your travels, and get there early too! :-)

Not as big as other London airports but that means it's a bit more relaxed.Well connected with trains from South terminal.

Gatwick South is a pretty nice airport, fast and relaxed security and not overcrowded.

South Terminal Duty Free twists and turns for what seems like a Km from security to departure gates. Blindfold little children or partners who get distracted by Calvin Kline perfumes.

Don't forget that departing from the North Terminal adds about 30 mins to your check-in time, as you need to get a tram/shuttle from South Terminal.
kiptrip1월 20, 2017Duty free has all the branded counters - Chanel, Lancôme, La Mer, YSL. Great shopping here but Heathrow is still better. No Urban Decay products unfortunately.

Trains also go to St.Pancras in little over half an hour and aren't even that expensive. Just make sure you get the faster connection.
