Will be glad when the remodel is finished. Parking and getting in and out is easy. Only $1 if you are just dropping someone off or picking them up park for a short amount of time.
SDF is a small airport - a lot is changing right now (dec 16) but Chili's is usually very good. I'll say Almira the Delta gate agent is my favorite gate agent ever. So customer service focused!좋아요 - 21시간 전
Welcome to Louisville! Lines are generally short so you don't have to "jockey" for a spot in the security zones. TSA agents are friendly as long a you don't "stirrup" any trouble. Order your coffee from Starbucks via mobile app while in security line. It will be ready and waiting for you when you get thru security. The Starbucks line is always longer than the TSA Precheck line.좋아요 - Jan 30
My local airport - I've never had a problem here. The TSA security line can look scary long but they are pretty fast. Arrive in plenty of time to catch flight just to be safe.

Michael Sheehan7월 14, 2011If you land and you don't have a place to stay, try the 21C Museum Hotel. The place is amazing. It's on 6th or 7th & Main. Funky, hippster hotel with Proof, a cool bar/restaurant. There's my tip.
While in Louisville: get a Louisville slugger made, visit Churchill Downs site of the Kentucky Derby, check out the Ali museum, drink some Bourbon!- Cool Fact: consuming a double shot of Kentucky bourbon on the rocks before boarding has been known to muffle the sound of a crying child.

Beautiful newly remodeled Airport. Try a bourbon at Book and Bourbon or just look at all the beautiful scenes of Louisville on the walls.
While in louisville, stop and eat at one of the spinellis locations.A must see while in kentucky!!

Watch out for the ridiculous golf carts driving perfectly healthy people to and from the gates. They will beep at you and near well run you over to get some lazy person through faster.

Seems like no matter when I arrive, I'm always at the very end of the terminal... Makes for a very long walk past a lot of empty gates! #usemoregates
While it's great that they have a full on pre-check lane there is no priority lane. When you don't get pre-check, security is a hassle. #axcesstravel

Jillana B9월 20, 2012Love this airport. small & car rental/return is steps from checkin. Tsa security guy asked me if i would "feel comfortable" taking my blazer off, & i said not really, so he didnt make me. :-)
The security is far more efficient and move you along quickly with plenty of open lanes
Feel free to use the family restroom, even if you don't have a baby. It's a single stall & you can lock the outer door in order to change or freshen makeup after landing undisturbed.
Stop by the Spirit bar on the B Concourse for a drink, and get the free wifi password from the bartender!
Picking up Bill! Delta is ready when you are. Many bags look alike. The moving sidewalk is ending. Parking: how about one dollar?

Great airport! Clean, people are nice, and it is easy to navigate. Wing's at Woodford Reserve Bar & Grill were delicious.

Gary Oldham8월 21, 2014Not a bad little airport. Friendly TSA screeners. If you're flying Delta or anything else in Terminal A, eat before the terminal. Only choice by A gates is a crappy Chili's.
