Go to Seaport village for good eats and good prices. Gaslamp for nicer sit down restaurants!

If it's nice, take a stroll on the marina out back. Lots of decent shops/food and cool street performers.

Elevators are a disaster. Always lines to get on in the lobby, impossible to get into a car from the upper floors. Nightmare.
