The Berlin Wall East Side Gallery showcases the work of 106 international artists on a 1.3km section of the original wall. A world symbol of freedom, it’s also the world’s biggest open-air gallery.
Since it's a private collection, you have to book in advance. But even the venue itself is worth the effort - an impressive/depressive Nazi bunker. Book 3 weeks ahead or try to squeeze in on a cncltn.
Outstanding hummus -- probably the best in Berlin. Zula offers various types and has other great dishes such as Spinach falafel, too. Big recommendation.
Take a break. Sit on a bench and let the world go by. Lovely views of the Berlin Dom, the TV Tower and Museumsinsel. Walk across nearby Schlossbrücke with its lovely Schinkel statues.
Wow! Great locally brewed beer (a Brit told me it was brewed downstairs, I'm not 100% sure it's true). Favorite offering (so far) is the refreshing Thirsty Lady. Goodbye John is also really great.
You kinda have to see this if you visit Berlin for the first time.
As a tourist spot, this is overrated. But good to visit once so that you can say that you have been here.

A free memorial site with a piece of the Berlin Wall and no man's land, great information along the street, visitor's center with a tower view. A place soaked in history!
The most famous landmark in Berlin is a MUST see. At night it looks particularly pretty.
Well, it does live up to the hype. Awesome high quality food, super friendly japanese staff and very reasonable prices. Best japanese place in Berlin so far. Advanced booking is a must!
