Matt English: Funky spot located a bit off the beaten path near the Beaches (free parking, though.) Beer list constantly changes, with solid one-offs and a bottle shop. Try all the beers you can. Rooftop patio, too
Matt English: Interesting little museum if you have an interest in local history. Only $5, which is a steal compared to most entertainment options in town. And, you can dress up as a War of 1812 soldier!
Matt English: First four samples are free. Definitely try some gin, white rye, and whatever new liqueur they have. After that, buy something! Prices are reasonable for a craft distiller. And definitely get bitters!
Matt English: New restaurant from Masterchef Canada contestant Matt Vanderhelm. Great summer patio and inventive list of cocktails. Food includes mac&cheese, charcuterie, poutine and other hearty classics.
Matt English: Most of the beer is by Big Rock (big brewery out west) and mainly generic-tasting, but they do "nano-brew" a few interesting beers on-site. Generally bright and corporate-feeling - big TVs, nice staff
Matt English: For true beer nerds, they specialize in hard-to-find Ontario beers, especially sours, plus a few rare European & US beers. They also offer tasty fried chicken from PG Cluck's, delivered from next door
Matt English: Come for the classic peameal bacon sandwich (best in the city? Maybe!), but stay for the dry ribs, deli meats, and list of loaded sandwiches named after regulars

Matt English: MLB player Jose Bautista is the owner of this location. There's nothing special about it inside, it's like any other Booster Juice, it's just a fun fact Jose Bautista owns the store.
Matt English: The best, most adventurous brewery in the area - usually 25+ brews on tap all made in-house, from mango wheat beers to chocolate peanut butter porters. Board games, retro video games. Growlers to go.
Matt English: Not bad if you live in the area. Small deli/bakery/produce sections, all of the essentials. If you need more, FreshCo and Loblaws are over at Dundas W/Bloor.
Matt English: Good food (try the Hunter Wings or Falafel Plate), good beer on tap, good people. Check out the upstairs (live music on some nights) and go on Thursday for $5 tallboys.
