María: Treat yourself to a lobster brioche roll, cocktails and oysters.

María: Dim sum that melts in your mouth, cocktails and a stylish and decadent environment.

María: Second time here. I take back my previous tip - this time the service was excellent and the turbot was light and delightful.

María: What a delightful experience. Even the toilets are so pretty you wouldn't mind getting your meal served there.

María: Very authentic: mouthwatering dishes, blunt staff.

María: People come from all over the world just to have a piece of their signature chocolate and Guinness cake. Not surprised, it's the BEST THING EVA!

María: A creative and different brunch. Delicious. Mimosas could be improved with real orange juice though.

María: Truffle edamame? Calpico? Veggie ramen? Bring them all on! Really impressed, this ramen is out of this world.

María: Dessert orgy to top up the most wonderful sushi feast.

María: Dark chocolate ice cream?? How marvelous!

María: Loved the coconut prawns! Cute colonial building.

María: The menu changes daily and it's always amazing. Creative and generous in size, this is quite an upgrade compared to the other restaurants on the beach.

María: The freshest ingredients prepared right next to you. The string hoppers were delish and the cook kept refilling the bowls. One of the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka.

María: Watalappam, some sort of coconut custard. It's crazy sweet, soooooo yummy!

María: More soya stuff that you've probably ever seen! All snacks are veggie or vegan, but the absolute highlight are the ice creams.

María: Pick one of this babies and get it cooked the way you love. Top it up with the pumpkin pudding for desert. Tea and chocolates at the end were on the house.

María: Most amazing and creative chocolates!! These guys starting up selling just two types of truffles and now they are running this emporium. The only thing I can't condone is the horrible music they play.

María: Loved listening to classical music in the loo. Now, roast wise, it is definitely more worth it if you are carnivorous: the veggie stuff is not impressive and it's too expensive for what you get.

María: Finally a local coffee place in the area that is opened until 8pm. Great sweet and savory selection and comfy and beautiful space.

María: Dodgy looking on the outside, cosy and hip inside. If like me, you don't find the perfect cocktail, just ask them to concoct something specially tailored for you.

María: Don't even dream of ordering Gordon's here. Great gin selection, needless to say it gets even better when it comes to wine. Perfect location and really cosy inside.
