Michael DJ2월 13, 2015I LOVE NCL airport. Breeze through security, friendliest staff anywhere in the world and great shopping - ohhhh and a cool pub with great cold beer - tad early for me though !
Great airport. You'll get from the front door to airside within 10 minutes without rushing. Recommend pre-booking car parking. Park and fly service is great.좋아요 - 3주 전
Edmund Rudder12월 26, 2017Departure has had a complete new refurb. A good duty free shop that follows along the lines of the major airports and has descent restaurant and bars as well as the usual Burger King and cheap eats.
Small airport but very nice. The shop that sell perfumes inside the airport is the cheapest I have came across in the whole of western european countries !!!
Really good airport. The sizes of the planes are getting really big. Including the Emirates 777. I normally plane spot here but it's quick and easy to go through. The lounge is very nice.

Smaller regional airport dominated by package holiday flights. Limited number of destinations compared to larger airports. Connection flights often needed if not travelling to popular holiday resorts.

Leaving early morning? Most of the Starbucks food likely to be a little stale. Try the breakfast pot and toasted fruit bread! :-)

No free wifi but if you buy a drink from the bar you can ask for a free 30 minute access code.
Bardia K.12월 29, 2016Relatively easy and friendly airport. Expect to wait >30 mins at immigration if non-EU. Also, bring paper boarding pass. Was told (first time ever) that mobile unacceptable if not using official app.

Some of the most diligent security staff works here! 1) No water for baby allowed and 2) my plastic zip lock bag for fluids was the wrong type (right size!) = had to be replaced! Feel safe now! :((

Renting a car? I'd recommend Enterprise. Great service and super prices. Located five minutes walk from Arrivals.
Hungry Hippo does cracking breakfast the light hippo is 4 quid cheaper than standard and get the same
Do us all a favor and take your damn belt off, empty your pockets of coins and keys, remove all liquids, take off anything that resembles a coat, shoes, boots off too please. Is that a watch? Off!

To reach many of the gates you have to walk through the fragrance shop. Woe be unto those who have asthma or allergies. :-(

Despite some of the comments left on tips this really is a good airport. Getting through is quick and easy and the people here are genuinely friendly and pleasant. It's not Heathrow, thank goodness.
Flying Easyjet but don't want to fork out for rip off speedy boarding. Wait at the WH Smith at the bottom of the stairs for the gate to be announced. You will be one of the first at the gate.

Janneke Boekhorst10월 23, 2013Don't shop for food if you just enter the lounge after customs. If you walk through the tax free store the're a lot of more restaurants.- If several planes come in at once the queue for passport control can be very long indeed!
Starbucks is only available before security if you need your latte fix.
