    Every dish was amazing. Super trendy but more expensive than you'd think. Get the octopus, cod, salmon sashimi, lamb belly, flat iron steak, strawberry desert. Every plate looks farm-to-foraged.

    This trendy tapas spot is best known not only for its unique and delicious small plates, but an incredibly extensive and fairly priced wine list. Be sure to order the meatballs and lamb belly.

    Literally everything was amazing... but if I HAD to choose, my fav bites were the sweetbreads & mussels. But if Marshall is your server, then eat/drink whatever he tells you. He won't steer you wrong!

    Known for its extensive wine list, Pearl & Ash boasts a large patio right on the Bowery plus the low ABV Lava Colada with housemade pickled pineapple purée, Cocchi Americano and fresh coconut milk.

    Fluke, hamachi, cod plates are fantastic. Pair with one of 1800 wines or an innovative negroni. All accompanied by a spot-on 80s soundtrack that tells me these guys understand their target clientele!

    This place is amazing. Start with the bread with chicken butter and you'll be in heaven. The pork meatballs with shiitake and bonito were amazing as was the quail wrapped in chicken skin!

    Excellent restaurant. The scallop appetizer is absolutely delicious. Their music playlist is really fun and gives a good ambiance to the restaurant.

    Mercifully located in a non-fratty stretch of LES. Wonderful small plates are great for sharing, and for a casual restaurant the wine selection is incredible with a lot of decent bottles under $50.

    The cheesecake the accompanied the grapefruit sorbet reminded me of Chikalicious. it was excellent and refreshing. The service was also top notch. friendly and accommodating.

    Can only speak to the wine list - which is beyond extensive, but accessible. Looking forward to trying some bites next time (though they do appear to be a bit pricey for small bites)

    Great wines for under $40. Recommended by the NYT: scallops with fennel, lily bulb and berbere; hanger steak tartare; octopus with sunflower seed and shiso.

    One of the best wine programs in the city – awesome old wines at sick prices. Wine director and partner Patrick Cappiello is the MAN. Food is excellent.

    Over 100 wines by the bottle to choose from at all price points. I do not rate the food, ambience, and music very high individually... But collectively = perfection.

    Trust the somms and bartenders. Its a huge list and a little guidance goes a long way. Try at least one thing from the raw section.

    Don't show up when Adrian Grenier shows up, or he will get seated in five minutes (after your reserved table is an hour late) even though he's washed up at a young age. I guess it's the blue eyes.

    Small plates abound. Make sure you save some room for the duck, but don't bother with the potatoes.
