- As a resident your best bet is to go Friday, post-5pm, when admission is $5. You have until 8pm; plenty of time to see the newer rotating exhibits, and the permanent displays at 1/4 of regular price.

- Coco10월 14, 2013I truly appreciate fine arts so i'm really happy i had the chance to visit this place. Wish i had more time though. Incredible and fascinating arts they have. My favorite is Vision of Fiammetta, 1878
- Elizabeth L. Grepp3월 20, 2014the collection is varied and interesting but this is one of the only museums i have been to where practically none of the art has a description beyond name, year and artist. hope you're an expert!
- Take the historic elevator for a ride. It's to the right as you enter. Watch your fingers though - the door is manually operated. Ask any staff member if you need help.

- Always plan extra time and let yourself wander around. There are always a diverse selection of wonderful exhibits that deserve your time. Go slow and enjoy!

- Be sure to first both buildings! There's a tunnel in the basement connecting them.
