Raquel de Meneses: Excellent for breakfast (or brunch on Sundays), pan con tomate y jamon is highly recommended. Tortitas con chocolate caliente are actually American pancakes with Nutella, simple but very good.
Raquel de Meneses: This chocolate mousse from the picture is AMAZING. The pain au chocolate is called Napolitana and is better than most I had in France. Give both a go. And then some more.
Raquel de Meneses: Loved everything I tried here, but the chorizo con cidra is the best I've ever had. If you're lucky, they might have Cachopo (breaded veal stuffed with jamon and manchego).
Raquel de Meneses: Pay for a drink and receive a small plate of food (tapa). Your choice. I'd recommend the huevos revueltos and the patatas revolconas. Good, honest food.
Raquel de Meneses: Do yourself a favor and do not miss this: Mollejas de lechal sobre cestillo de patatas paja y yema confitada (sweetbread with crispy thin potatoes and yolk confit). Absolutely TO DIE FOR.
Raquel de Meneses: Anchovied chicken wings with honey glaze are AMAZING. Juicy, meaty, sticky, delicious! (Not an anchovy fan myself, I was happy the taste is not that strong.) Go for it!

Raquel de Meneses: Pancakes and berries with loads of vanilla cream and maple syrup, this is comfort food at its best. And yes, it tastes as good as it looks.
Raquel de Meneses: I always go for the Smokey Robinson. Brioche bun, beef patty, lettuce, tomato, bacon, caramelised onions and the amazing P&B mayo. You can't go wrong with this one.
