The San Diego Astronomy Association provides free telescope viewing outdoors on the Prado in Balboa Park. This free event is held on the first Wednesday of every month (weather permitting).

Do not park anywhere downtown San Diego. It's $20 a pop will rape your bank account. Park @ one of the free trolley stations and pay the $5 all day pass. Way cheaper .
