If you're willing to be in a small elevator or walk 32 flights of stairs for a view go for it.- If you are looking for a place to sit down, have lunch, or just relax, this is the place to go in Indy during the day. Grab an ice cream at South Bend Chocolate Factory while you are at it.

HISTORY7월 15, 2010This monument was formally dedicated in 1902 after a parade of flags with many veterans of battle.In 1918 there was a museum added underground that has a collection of Civil War artifacts.

Jasmine Woodruff10월 23, 2010Great for Halloween...Can you find the lady statue on the monument that is crying? Legend has it that a man jumped to his death off of the monument and the tears were seen soon after.
Take the stairs up to the top of the monument. Its great exercise and it's a nice view at the top.

Walk to the top of the monument or take the elevator ($1) for a great view of the city
