Some people complain about the teaching method of Willy Burmann, but there is a reason half of NYCB and ABT take his class: he is one of the best teachers in the city!
Mary Carpenter teaches a great class! A protege of David Howard, her class is very similar (like David Howard light) but much much less crowded!
Scott Thompson's Broadway class is super fun; great for beginners/non dancers, but challenging for seasoned performers, too. He's very warm and welcoming!

Take Matt Lopez's class if you want a good workout! Just don't forget your water bottle.
I love Richard Pierlon's jazz classes his M/W classes are great for getting back into shape. His t/Th classes help you BOOK. He is everything
big studios in a beautiful building. lots of professional ballet dancers take classes here.
kunikova and herrault are my favorite! love their ballet classes.
Take Ray Hesselink's tap classes. You will most definitely have an amazing time. And you will never be the same.

Ronnie Duncan2월 8, 2011If you want to get on your leg with classic technique, Elena Kunikova's class is an advance and patient way to get back in touch with technique.
Standing near the radiator for bar in studio bites..... Get to class early sonyou can grab a spot at bar that won't melt you into a puddle of sweat.
Burmann is one of those public humiliation type ballet teachers. Best to avoid.
Andrew Nemr...Barbara Duffy...Derrick Grant...get to the studio and take some tap classes!!
