Nice hotel, large comfortable rooms. Good service, convenient, but walls are thin. Group of screaming in children in the hallway at 8am is not how I want to start my Sunday.

Clearly a few things have changed in the last couple years. WIFI is free. Lobby still looks great. My room has the old school decor, but that's boutique hotel chic.

Upgraded the room for next to nothing and the DOUBLE BALCONY room is amazingly BEAUTIFUL. Service is comparable go Four Seasons along with cleanliness that parallels a newborn suite at the Hospital.

Great stay-4days. Very Convenient location..easy walk to metro and Dupont Circle and Georgegown. Super clean & friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again!

Love the hotel and location! Great bar and the service is amazing. Sister hotel is the beacon down the street with an awesome roof top bar!!!

Room was nice & bar is lovely, but had a number of issues with my stay, plus heard from colleagues about issues. Maybe it'll get better.

It's under new ownership and has been renovated. The lobby is part of a restaurant now and it's gorgeous!

Great bar & decent food, but rooms leave something to be desired. Room phone didn't work, only decaf coffee in room, one night room smelled so strongly of teh herb I had to open the balcony door!

Don't book through a 3rd party, the un-careing staff will take a perverse pleasure in knocking you down a peg or two into a smaller room.

Shadi and Luciano are fabulous at the front desk!! Very friendly and welcoming! Bar staff was also great!!!!!

Horrific customer service. The place relies on it's location - quality has significantly dipped since last visit (less than a year ago!)

Wifi is extremely expensive (12 dollars per device per day). Go to the Starbucks on the corner of 20th and L Street to get a free fix.

If you go through a metal detector during the day your room key is deactivated. Expect the front desk gentlemen to be obnoxiously annoyed that they had to take 3 seconds to reprogram your card.

Great hotel - excellent service. Check for Internet special rates - we paid 139 per night

This is a two star hotel that passes itself off as a fourstar- never pay full price for this place, bad beds, bad service, outdated rooms- granted they are specious and do not valet- street spaces.
