Robin Bertels: Try the Slabtown or Classics taster trays. 6 5oz tasters at $12 each. Try to score a table on the first floor for the best view of the brewery.
Eric Lepire: Great brews, crazy good pretzels, gooey mac n cheese and friendly staff. Place is very cool for a quick lunch or a lingering dinner. Deschutes represents the best of Portland.
Nicole Kasten: Clean, well crafted beer. Inviting tap room. They allow outside food. Knowledgeable pourers. Stout and browns are good. Usually have a cask beer. Fun place to hang out.
Behrad Eats: The Pork Belly Banh Mi will really hit the spot! Made with ginger-caramelized belly, daikon, carrot, cilantro, fresh jalapeño, & sriracha mayo all on a French roll.

Jenn Y: Runs March-Christmas and actually open both Saturday and Sunday, this is the craft market to beat all craft markets. Wonderful treasure to be found. Come support Portland's DIY/artisan culture.
Geoff Reinhardt: Views of Mount Hood and Portland are worth the short walk or tram ride out of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Get a view of Mount St. Helens at the top (on a clear day!)

Dave Clark: Pretty much everything is fantastic here. Two or three tacos are perfect, as is the Brian's Bowl. I love a small simple salad and a veg taco.
DANGER TAM: Come with an empty stomach and full ambition. Their grits is one of the best outside of the South and as a Southerner, I would know. Also slap some chicken on the Regina for an added hat tip.
