Radek Piotrowski5월 15, 2013If you need to go to city center, take buss (99SEK one way) or local train "pendeltåg" with Zone ticket (ABC ZONE for 150SEK) valid 3hr, no travel limit. You can choose longer period as well.

The Arlanda Express is a fantastic innovation and great service. This is the best way to go to and from Arlanda Airport to Stockholm City. Some funky tunnels too.
There is a nice design store next to a children's store near Gate 1. Lots of last minute goods for loved ones back home.
The overall airport is quite good and efficient... Business Lounge is too!
Very neat, free wifi. If you're 4 people going to stockholm city take the taxi, it's cheaper. Fixed fare: 470SEK the ride while the train for 4 people is 480SEK.

Alexandros Plexidas5월 1, 2020There are decent options to chose from for a snack even though you should expect to pay it quite expensively. Best option (faster and most easy) to reach the city is the Arlanda Express Train.

Tom Yates6월 25, 2016If you're a lone traveller, if you team up with 1, 2 or 3 people for the Arlanda Express at weekends you will make huge savings - for example 300kr for 2 tickets instead of 280kr for 1 :-).

The eduroam network to get free wifi works here, too! :) also, love the flygbussarna, 79SEK for <25years, 40mins to the city, pretty damn cheap!

Well this airport has two sides one that is a bit older and needs renovations, but the newer one is breathtaking with designer stores, modern design, and restaurants.

If you travel with kids and plan on checking in your stroller, you can borrow one from the airport by the special baggage drop area in Terminal 5 and return it at the boarding gate.
Robin Hwang4월 29, 2016Be sure to get tax back when shopping! Global blue tax refund is next to information in T5. For premier tax, go to customs at arrivals hall and post envelope or go to Aviator counter for cash refund.
F pier is the newest part of Terminal 5. Very nice. Also the refurbished Terminal 2 and lounge is really nice. You'll find a Starbucks in T2 and T5.

Amazingly quite and spacious near Gates F2*! Beware of the new 75 SEK rule for the one's arriving by pendaltåg on SL card :/
The cheapest way to get to the city is through pendeltåg that makes the connection between Uppsala-Stockholm. If you have the SL Card. Terminal 2 has only few eateries, coffee shops. Most open after 6 am and close early. If you are flying from T2 then eat at the city before arriving or you will be left hungry. Very few toilets too.

Sigbjørn D10월 19, 2019Easygoing airport, but keep in mind that you can't buy alcohol from the duty free if you're traveling to another EU country. Good connections to the center of town with the express train.
Duty Free store is great, airport is clean and cozy, you will probably not meet any lines, especially if you'll use self-service check-in machines. Free WiFi everywhere, but only for 3 hours.

Small and practical. Eduroam wifi for those who have an account. Otherwise there is a free wifi for 60 min or something. The SAS lounge is nice. You should try it out.

VERY inconvenient AirPort in case you changing flights from local to international and especially if you have a baggage - you need to go through security when switching terminals and check in your bag
