- Dipesh Patel9월 25, 2014Free wifi and really easy to get around. Always better to hang out in the center and enjoy the empty couch seats before getting on the tram to the terminal.
Nice, easy to navigate and well-organized airport. Excellent way to welcome folks to FL.
One of the best airports, very organized and lanes move quickly. Very clean and spacious.
Christina Carberry3월 18, 2013If you have a delay or a long layover, head to the adjacent Marriott and relax in the pool courtyard. They have bartenders serving the area and it was almost empty on a cloudy day!
If renting car- arrive 90 at least 90 mins prior to departure and you can check your bag in the rental facility building
If you come to check your bags and find that the lines are long, go to curbside. Usually not busy and quicker. Be sure to tip a couple of bucks for each bag. Worth it not to wait in line.

Great wifi that actually works well! It's almost never busy here which means very few lines everywhere you go within the airport. Pretty good options for food.
Cellphone waiting lot is awesome! They have food trucks, free wi-fi, restrooms, and a huge board to show you all the details of the flights. Best of all, it's free to use!
Timothy Möhle4월 19, 2015Nicer shopping and dining in the central hub. Once at the various terminals you're stuck with what they got.
Check out the elephants on display by the shops before you get to the trams. They are awesome unique works of art.

Clean, relaxed, free wifi and good food/drink venders for an airport.

Free Wifi everywhere, very organized and easy to get to the gates, plenty of options to dine. Best airport in the US!

Danny McManus8월 29, 2013I travel ALOT. . . TSA employees here are the most polite and friendly of any airport I've been to. If course is 7am, so that might change.
Use the cell phone lot for picking up someone.. big sign with arrivals, bathrooms, concession, free wifi. The only thing that would be better is if they had a view of the runway..
Pretty easy to get around. Good Irish bar near Delta gates. Rental car area is a bit of a haul, so leave time.
Beautiful new SWA terminal. Enough eating options but none that fit my taste. I like healthier eating.
The new Mise en Place Wine Bar (First Flight) just opened in middle of main terminal and it looks very nice! I'm impressed! Check it out.
Chris Broach5월 28, 2012Chilis Togo has beer and clowns. The guards here are much more aggressive an efficient than Chicago-ORD. Which makes no sense. Efficiency. Take note Chicago. Take note Rahm Emanuel.
If flying out of the American Airlines terminal, arrive early because as soon as you take train shuttle to concourse the security line can be an hour long or so looks at first from main hall deceiving
Short term parking is first hour free and the bars and restaurants are on the public side of security. So go inside to see ye party off, or pick them up.
I you're parking in Long Term Parking, try to park on the northernmost end of the 2nd level. It will put you right at the walkway to the terminal. Avoid the creepy shuttle on the 5th level.
The Airport look great after the renovation, the big screen comp is very helpful , to find a place to change currency was a hassle , need employees to help people
It has improved a lot within the past year. It compares to some of the big city airports!
Jordan Groseclose11월 12, 2014Tampa is an efficient, easy airport. I recommend Hertz for your rental, not just because they are the best, but it's definitely the easiest for getting out of the airport fast.
As always one of the best airports! Clean, easy to navigate through and not too busy.
If u have time to kill before a flight, head over to the Marriott bar and pool. There are couches and big nice chairs to relax in and watch some tv
Best laid-out major airport in the US. Short walks to gates. Rental car facility on site. Nice shopping & food choices outside and inside secure area.
