Lots of natural caves made from the heaps of boulders. Locals say that the rocks were volcanic boulders.
One of the Steep Hills that I've ever been to. The temples are really good, the view after the tough trek is really refreshing. Beware of the monkeys, they snatch anything they see in sight.
The fort and the view are the plus points of this trek. Get your own food and water
Not an overflowing waterfall unless it rains, good for a short drive from Mysore/Bangalore for a weekend picnic. Best visiting time - winter months.
The camp is filled with lots of joints and cottages nearby with great food. Alcoholic drinks are available. Hard to fish at the usual spots since people started littering like crazy. DON'T LITTER
