Finally, an independent bookstore back in Queens! Great selection of fiction and new releases for literate adults (and yes, ample kids' books, too).

So grateful to have this store in Astoria, it's the local bookstore of my dreams. Great recommendations hidden on pieces of paper throughout the store and they host events for adults and kids alike!

A nice addition to the neighborhood, with some programming coming already and a small, but nice, collection of books to pick up. Great collection of mo willems children's books!

Small but awesome selection! The perfect, cute little bookstore. Check out their greeting card selection as well.

This place is AMAZING! They have a great selection for a small, independent book store, and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend Astoria Bookshop.

Welcome them to the neighborhood!!! This place is already a gem! Would love to see a "local" area, and I'm excited for the events they have planned! Wish it was a spot to work- more of a quick stop.

Nice small store. It's under the elevated railroad, so every so often it gets rumbly and loud.

Make sure to ask for staff favorites. Best way to get interested in new authors. Also, they support local writers!

Ask Lexi (the owner) for new book suggestions. She hasn't steered me wrong yet!

Be sure to ask about their reader rewards program (it doesn't involve yet another card to stick on your keyring)!
