- Gé .4월 11, 2015Great food, great selection of wines and good atmosphere in the bar downstairs. Staff is friendly and service fast. An expat nest. Very loud - not great for a date - you won't have a voice afterwards
- Love the Surry Hills hipster and European vibe. Food is fresh and lovely. Service is laid back. Good small selection of vino. The building is restored from the old, so very authentically European. Yum
- The lamb loaf is beautiful. Potato skins are great as a discussion style snack. Good wine selection. Great cocktails. Live music and wonderful wine cave bar downstairs. Lovely local gem.
- Deakin Bell5월 26, 2013Great night out at The Commons. Sat by the fire on a cold Sunday night and found complete bliss. Lots of mains for $20 and great waiter. Gave us a tour and quick history of building. Will be back soon

- Gé .3월 12, 2010The wagyu beef carpaccio is really nice and a good portion ($18) interesting choice of sweets (frozen moscato grapes!)The place is really really REALLY noisy though, forget it for a romantic dinner!!!
- Plunder the cocktail list. The craftsmanship is superb, and the bartenders well versed in their dark arts.

- Miss B10월 28, 2011Amazing fillet mingion, shitty garfish. Unknowledgeable staff- garfish DOES have bones!!! Nice wine. Service was pretty terrible. Would not come back.
