    A recent birthday dinner here with 8 friends was one of the best meals in recent memory. The beet pasta appetizer was exceptional, as was the service, space, decor, staff & vibe. Loved The Florence.

    The grilled peach bruschetta is light and refreshing as an appetizer and comes with four pieces. The half chicken is a feast; the strip sirloin is a more reasonably portioned meal. Love the veggies.

    The sirloin steak with fried okra was delicious! and the cider glazed pork were sweet and succulent and paired perfectly with the kale. Bit overpriced, though.

    The octopus is wow! The right amount of spice coupled with some fingerling potatoes makes the dish perfect.

    We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail menu. The bartender was very knowledgeable.

    Any of the bruschetta or pasta (we liked the squid ink bucatini the best). Skip the pizza.

    Mussels (special), sirloin and espresso. The 7.6 rating makes me think that foursquare has jumped the proverbial Yelp shark.
