A real hidden gem is the Wiertz museum. It is hidden away in an old house between European parliament and the natural history museum. It is free and only a couple of rooms.
They have over 1500 sqm filled with comics. The gift shop is extensive and they cover books in several languages and they also do a combination ticket with the Marc Sleen museum across the road.
If you are looking for a nice lunch around Schuman in Brussels, then go to Parioli on rue Froissart. Excellent food and great service.
