- Avoid the crowds and the noise - go Saturday or Sunday for an afternoon beer and actually get a spot on the couch by the fire. Mmmm cozy :)
- QB B10월 31, 2012A bar with books and a fireplace? Yup it's pretty much one of the best laid back bars I've ever been to.
- Compass5월 20, 2014Bocce ball courts, wall-to-ceiling bookshelves and fireplaces, and an underground music and comedy venue make Union Hall a destination favorite.
- Bonnie Eisenman3월 13, 2015Boccé is just plain fun. Beer selection is decent, corn dogs were surprising (not on a stick??) but tasty.
- B N11월 28, 2010The crowd is strangely hip, not hip, not hip-hop and hoppy (like beer). Bocce ball is legit-avoid on weekends though. Entertaining events in the basement and a literary aesthetic. Prob good for dates.
- Meg Velin5월 26, 2013Keri is the best bartender! Treat her nice & tip her well - she'll take great care of you.
- E Alix1월 21, 2015The coziest bar in the winter. Sit near the 🔥place, but not right next to it or you'll fry.
- Nam Nguyen9월 7, 2011Happy hour here is peace on earth. Good cheap beer. Great tunes that fit the vibe. The sounds of bocce is therapeutic.
- Curl up next to the fireplace, have a chat with no TV blasting. Or see a show downstairs. You never know what will be on display.
- Julie Avra6월 2, 2017decor like a living room--something about the fanciness prevents it from being truly comfy
- Michael Greelish3월 1, 2011Avoid on friday and saturday nights unless you're seeing a show in the basement, as the main floor gets packed, and it's a douchebag-a-rama complete with bouncer. Other nights or afternoons, it's ok.
- Kat11월 26, 2011Be sure to enjoy some petanque with the Park Slope hipsters in the back room. Great ambiance!
- Angie Gannon8월 15, 2011If you can, reserve a bocce lane before you go. Also, grab dinner with your beer. It's good pub food.
- Go to the 90s dance party every first Saturday of the month and have a blast from the past. The DJs are the best!
- Allan Beaufour9월 25, 2011Great atmosphere, good beer, and two indoor bocce courts. What's there not to like? :-)
- Mike Horn2월 28, 2010Such an awesome spot. As I recall, there is live music downstairs and skeeball in the back. The bar looks like an old library.
- DeRose Method USA2월 15, 2012No trip to Brooklyn is complete without some Bocce. Go early (before 8pm) if you want to play.
- There is nothing wrong with this super-bar. Bocce + great micro-brews - did I mention a fireplace and dumplings?
- Adult Education, Brooklyn's favorite "useless lecture series," is here the first Tuesday of every month. (Except for July and August, when school is out.)
- Matt Dunlap2월 27, 2010If you're there for the band, get downstairs a little early and nab one of the church pews along the side to store your stuff under.
- M. Silver Associates2월 24, 2012Kiki and Jinners' Oscar Party: Free (at least it was free last year). Creative drink specials.
- Crunch Gym9월 17, 2010Bocce Ball isn’t considered one of the most strenuous of activities, but you can burn up to 250 calories an hour playing this ancient old sport.
