Get Vietnamese at Ba-Le. Cheap and good, plus you're like as not to see the local school having a hula concert on the stage next to the food court.

Eat at Sonz @ Swan Court. Super old school. Like they make sure you have your cocktail before they give you the menu. The waiters are fully dressed in long sleeves and ties.
Good food, good cocktails. Somehow got the reputation for being THE place for sunset dining (the view in the restaurant is nice tho) but Hula Grill is just better. Don't eat at the Beachside Grill.

Park at the Whaler Village. Black Rock at the north end is the jumping off place of the old gods, and around sunset the Sheraton always has some people jumping into the ocean.
Gorgeous view, naturally shaded by old palms, really good cocktails. The wild chickens that wander around are pretty awesome too.
A lovely, civilized place. Lots of golfers getting in their well-deserved gin after a hard day on the links. Nice people tho. Zero sunburns. No need for reservations at lunch but probably for dinner.
Sea turtles. They're practically tame. State law says you mustn't touch (and you mustn't) but other peoples' children feed it seaweed out of their hands. Amazing creatures.

Food quality has gone quite a bit this year - to quote my friend: "sashimi was tasteless, shrimp actually made me queasy for like half a day." Best to avoid this spot.
