Angelica Dongallo7월 20, 2015CA Historical Landmark NO. 1029 USS HORNET - Served in the Pacific in WWII and as the recovery ship for the Apollo 11 (1st moon-landing mission) and Apollo 12 astronauts. Shoutout to our Navy dads ;)
Anything to do with history is amazing and this ship is no different. More people should go to help raise funds to keep it going.
USS Hornet - Sea, Air and Space Museum10월 31, 2013Allow at least 2 to 3 hours for your visit -- there is a lot to see on the ship. Arrive no later than 2:00pm to sign up for the engine room and other docent-led tours.
Brendan Edwards10월 20, 2011While the self tour is fine, please take the time to take the docent-led tours. They don't cost any extra, it seems, and you see parts of the ship you wouldn't otherwise see. Great stories too!

Rides not available, aft elevator was tented from view. Waited for tour, inquired & was told docent had departed. Demanding refund.
