The beach on the North side is much better than the one on the east side which is full of little shells, not ideal for any beach sport, and the sea shore is full of big buildings. Too much touristic.

Renting chairs and umbrellas r the way to go! U get them for $40 until 5 PM and u get the nice chase lounge chairs with padding!

Family oriented. Enjoyed our stay. Appeared tone dog friendly which was a pleasant surprise.

Make sure you check out Rockfish on 16th Street, great hand pattied burgers and huge selection of Virginia beer.

Try TERRAPIN it’s a great michelin style restaurant!!!

Beautiful area.. even in the fall. The sun is lovely here but bring sunscreen!

Instead of renting umbrellas, you can find them cheap in shops on Atlantic Ave.

Stop in and visit Mahi Mah's while you are at the oceanfront. Trust me, you dont want to miss it.

Best time to visit is Oct thru February.

Come to the beach early, grab one of the close parking metered spots to avoid driving around hunting all day

VB is awesome. Great people and great place to stay for a vacation.

Such a great beach. Nice & warm & the sand beneath your toes are great.

Clean beach. Lots of entertainment along the street in the evenings. Not impressed by the pier. Overall, very nice though!

Great little shops with season end sales.

For the best fish tacos and margaritas go to Pelon's Baja Grill on 37th and pacific

Come sit on the beach and relax for a while. Or go shopping along the boardwalk :)

Its a great place to visit the clubs are great.

Don't forget to stay hydrated go to barrs pharmacy (17th $ Atlantic) for a water worth the buck

RockFish on 16th street is a must.

I've had a lot of mornings, but none better than spring and summer on the Oceanfront, where you can hear the birds waking up.

make sure you go in the summer... otherwise the waters a biiiiittt cold :P

This is a great family oriented vacation destination!

Check out Mahi Mah's on 6th street. You won't regret it.
