The ramen here are artistically composed. The broth is balanced and rich, the noodles feel freshly made and all ingredients are of quality. The atmosphere feels young and is full of noisy efficiency.
One of the nicest ramen place in Singapore, the soup and shachu pork are deeply good taste. Strangely that hhis branch is better than other branches, and better than Bangkok one!
Get the egg topping - it's one of the best. Lemon soda went well with our ramen and you can refill it once (soda water and sugar syrup on table). Great ramen broth. Don't bother with chicken karaage.
Love the broth & the meat was so tender. If you chose HOT-it is really hot, so you might consider. Go for the matchatiramisu. That was really nice too. Only this depressing mall setting is a bummer.
I've been here 7 times & have tried 14 dishes. LOVED: 1) Akamaru Shin-Aji Ramen 2) Ippudo Original Salad. FAILED: Bakuretsu Tofu (Spicy Tofu & Pork in Stone Pot). See Top 10 dishes on Foodmento: 자세히 보기
The ramen is spectacular! I also ordered the pork buns and crispycorn as recommended by others- indeed they were good! It's expensive for a bowl of ramen but if u r not having it everyday..indulge!
Tonkotsu ramen here is a must-try here. Do try the Hakata gyoza, steamed pork bun and Cheese Jaga Ball which complement well with the ramen. Be prepared to queue for at least an hour though.
Ippudo, probably the best ramen shop that I ever eaten. Try their ramen. I love the red bowl one (forgot the name), crispycorn, pork bun, and their steak (only available for dinner)!
Absolute awesomeness, you can slurp the soup to the very last drop. Try Ramen with miso paste paired with a White Sangria. And the best part is where I can choose my ramen to be hard medium or soft.
The restaurant always have a long Q of people that their staffs are always chasing dinners out once they are done. Good & bad, depending on which side of the fence you are on.
renowned for their tonkotsu broth! Try their Akamaru modern, Karakamen or Shiromaru. Not a fan of the shoyuramen though. Their Hakata style GYOZA is love & the Ippudo Pork Buns.. both is a must-try! 자세히 보기
I must admit the thickness of the pig broth is exactly how I'd like it to be & it's bloody tasty. Minus points for the miserable slice of pork belly though. Lose out to Santouka for the pork!
Try the Ippudo Karakamen. It's spicyTonkotsu Ramen served with minced pork and spicy paste. Oh remember to ask for extra garlic. It took my ramen to a whole new level of goodness, really. Try it. 자세히 보기
Medium noodle tasted just right. The original soup was also not very salty. So all in all, the ramen tasted really good. Additional noodle can be added if you have remaining soup too!
the interior deco & seating arrangement. V spacious in between tables. Hate the insane queue (waited an hr on avg weekdays!) Thank gdness serving time is fast & efficient! Overall dining exp!
Expensive, but the best ramen in Singapore. Long line (no kidding, velvet rope outside) and when they run out you're out of luck so get in early. Besides ramen, pork buns and renkon chips are yummy!
Ramen is really good - rich miso broth, noodles with the right chewy al-dente consistency. But for those who are avoiding fat or who don't like it - don't order akamura ramen - lots of floating fat ;(
Shrimpbuns are the bomb. Try them! If u have a large group of abt 6 - 8 and are willing to spend upwards of $30+ per person, they offer u the VIP room if it's available.
