Absolutely the best place for Japanese curry in the city. This place serves the lesser know Japanese food, very authentic and has a friendly staff. Family owned and run. Expect a wait on weekends.

Curry is good. Shrimp katsu curry is crazy huge. If you dare, get XXX spicy, but you're not going to enjoy it. I like my spice but it was overwhelming!

Order the homemade hamburger with mushroom sauce. If you order the curry sauce, be careful of the spicyness. 2X = double spicy, not medium. It's REALLY hot.

Japanese style western food, aka yoshoku. Love the curries and gratins. Japanese style pastas are fun too.

Potato croquettes, chicken kara-age and gyoza were delicious. Service was pretty good for only having one server on duty.

The mentaiko spaghetti is good but not great, kinda like the service. They're a sweet old couple running at a slower pace then most places. At least you can enjoy some anime or manga while you wait.

The service can be kinda slow, but the curry pizza (with cheese and veggies, for me) is worth it.

$15 minimum for credit or debit. weird food but a few dishes are good. mentaiko spaghetti. overpriced as well. they have manga inside.

There are so many excellent restaurants in Japantown. Eat at one of them instead of eating here. It's overpriced for a relatively low quality meal.
