This is by far my favourite Japanese restaurant this side of town. It specialises solely in tendon and tempura. Service is excellent. Plus, the Japanese chefs are really friendly and boisterous.
Super Deluxe Tendo - RM61 for this, may sound expensive but worth for the price ! The Eel portion was huge ! Good for 2 person, you may add RM2 for another bowl of Rice. Very good service !
Tendon sauce 👍 seafood used for tempuras are fresh and huge and plenty. Price a little too steep though. This place serves tempura don menu at a fine dining price. Theyre good alright! But at a price
Large portions, sufficiently tasty, no tax (yet?). Unfortunately the tempura batter is not crispy / soggy which makes the tempura don feel oily & overwhelming just after eating 1/3 of the bowl.
Service is not bad. Food is overpriced and definitely not worth it. They need to add a bit more flavour on their most basic dishes and not overcook their pricier ones.
The featured dish, 'Shitamachi Tendon', has been popular since... Edo period. Some fans even call it the soul food of Edo, right in the modern city of Tokyo.(더 보기)
