This utopian town based on "arcology" as an urban lab is one of the most captivating places in the country. must be seen by anyone interested in alternative & sustainable ways of reorganizing society.

FORM Festival in Arcosanti is a fabulous and relatively hidden event, melting art, activism, environment and music. may be the first festival to ban cultural appropriation. Plan to go there in May

Get here around 10:30am walk around then hit up the 11am tour. After the tour do lunch, it's a bit pricy but totally worth the price! Amazing food!

A great social, architectural and ecological experiment whose message to urban planning is well overdue.

Be prepared for lots of steps. But very peaceful

Look for the petroglyphs on walls of the mesas.

Decent guest rooms here at a reasonable price. Great hiking.

Don't pass the sign on the road. This place is surreal. Nicest people in Arizona.

Don't forget to make the other onsite checkin's on the tour.

Lunch only served between noon and 130.
