Every Sunday during the summer the gallery host free movies directed by Asian directors. Go early and explore the Buddhist exhibit in the basement and the gorgeous Peacock Room

I go there for the special exhibits but permanent collection is also quite good.

Everything in the gift shop is currently 75% off. Asian style posters for $1.25 each. Mini prints for 10 cents. Can't beat that.
