andrewpascoe: Following its South Melbourne name-sake, does terrific brews. The standard around East Brunswick is already high, but this is still a v welcome addition.
Hendy Ongkodjojo: Excellent service and great atmosphere! For breakfast, try the gelatinous 65/65 egg (boiled for 65 mins in 65°C water), served with lyonaisse sausage, smoked hock and baked beans!
Sho' Nuff: ...Baddest beans in the whole damn town, badder than old King Kong, meaner than a junkyard dog... Really good coffee, a wide pavement, shady trees, sit & sip peacefully here as the mayhem passes u by.
Chris Liew: The shiksa bagel stuffed with pulled pork, winter coleslaw was just the beginning. Add good coffee and friendly staff, this place has already earned its place in Richmond.
Aram Dulyan: The perfect place to park your laptop and combine business with the pleasure of eating and drinking. Free wi-fi, and power plugs near the tables FTW.

Ross Hill: This zero-waste cafe is full of tasty food that may look tiny when it arrives on your plate but will leave you feeling full of goodness when you leave.
Tomato: Another outlet for the roasting of Mark Dundon from Seven Seeds and Brother Bada Budan. Try an espresso and match with a cannellé. Coffee here is among the best in town.
Chris Messina: Beautiful old, gothic convent on the banks of the Yarra turned into a community farm and centre. Great little food places too. One of my favourite spots in Melbourne. Best visited on a weekend.
