Super friendly staff. Bit a long wait but entertaining enough watching the baristas. Amazing coffee. Great places outside in the sun too.
Enjoy an affogato on a hot day. Also can't go wrong with their New Orleans iced coffee.

Do try the siphon! A great coffee experience, with a delicate body and the unique flavors of the coffee shining through clearly and beautifully.

Always busy and not a lot of space but you can get their amazing vacuum pot here! If the inside has a long line, try the little kiosk outside to save time.

Kanichi Nakata11월 13, 2011Truly excellent coffee. They put a lot of care into making each cup and it definitely shows. The brunch menu is also an often overlooked treasure, just don't expect seating for more than 2-3 people.
They have full breakfast and lunch menus. For breakfast, the French toast is amazing.

Lolosaurr10월 4, 2014This one sees quite a bit of a queue, likely due to the more accessible location. Indoor sitting is limited and quite warm. I'd recommend to-go only. Try other BB spots for a better experience.
Go here for a decent cup of coffee, but I would encourage you to try Special Xtra for a better espresso

The Acme toast here is insane. I know it seems pricey.. But it's the best slice of bread an butter you'll find downtown. Toast and poached eggs. very very tasty. you can also see various SF Bay/Silicon Valley luminaries like @Jack Dorsey if you keep your eyes open.

Erik Cox3월 17, 2014Two notes about buying beans here: 1) You don't have to wait in line if you're only getting beans, just go up to the register. 2) They will not grind it for you.
Like rich, dark coffee? Try an Oji iced coffee, it'll blow your hair back.
Treat yourself to all of the cookies: double chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and ginger. Each one is uniquely fantastic.
Breakfast sandwich is serviceable (bacon is good) but a bit too oily. Frittata is also too dense. Better than many but not top notch.
