One of the best coffee places in Oslo overall. Nice interior and not too many people at once, so if you're lucky you can grab a seat. Fantastic aeropress brew and espresso.

Cliche and guidebook appeal aside, the Viking ships are beautiful and this oldschool museum is very charming. Just avoid the tour bus visits.
Lovely rocky beach that is equally worth visiting in summer and winter. Best reached from Kongsgården bus stop, via a path through the woods. Adventurous? Try nearby Huk nudist beach.

It's overall a nice hotel with great shower, cozy bed, very arty decoration, very friendly staff and super breakfast. The downside - the building is old and you hear every noise.

Great place to go with a large group. Also a surprisingly good venue for live music & the different rooms offer good variety for the night. You can dance, talk or even uh, play shuffle board.
Perfect walk w art whether it's sunny or heavy fog. Tip: take the tram one stop past the Ekeberg park stop though to get the best views of the fjord, the villas and walk DOWNWARDS through the park.

Must be the best wine bar in Oslo. With over 400 bottles you can get on glass or buy the bottle. I would love to have more Spanish wines though and the place is quite expensive
