The Tuna Tataki and the Fried Chicken are crackers...also check out the Sake menu - good range but you can go nuts with the Tosa Shiragiku at $130
This place is great. Feels like being in Mexico City (particularly while walking upstairs, lovely food scent). Food is well priced for Melbourne. Everything was tasty and authentic. BTW, I'm Mexican.
Excellent food, service and beer. My favourite Melbourne venue. Make sure you book if you want to eat because Cookie is very very awesome and everyone will already be here before you.
Double-baked goat cheese sfromata and gnocchi is apparently to die for. Will see shortly :)
The soufra (shared plate) is terrific and plenty for lunch. Pork loin with pomegranate was delicious
Get the daily fruit-flavoured coconut crushed ice, the barramundi, apple and pork salad and the palm sugar ice cream sundae.

Rabbit ravioli with a cloud of ricotta and wrapped in prosciutto was lovely though the portion was on the smaller size.
Great spanish/french influenced food & wine selection. Bit pricey but a slice of Europe in Australia, which is sort of just typical Melbourne really.
Sancerre by the glass, red duck curry, sticky black rice pudding. If sharing the whole snapper, ask for it to be served before the curry so you can eat the more subtle first without curry going cold
have the tuna niçoise from the supper menu...... it is greatness...! & don't forget to make sure they bring you aioli with bread!
The pork belly *is* fantastic. Everything else seems overrated and overpriced - there is better Asian "fusion" food to be had elsewhere.
I work in the city and Friday nights after work girlfriends and I head for a pizza and a cocktail on their rooftop. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.
Try the tuna niscoise, very clever interpretation, as well as the whitebait and you can't go past the lemon tart. Great wines.

Scrumptious dessert selections (with macaroons and souffles!) on Chocolate Bar during weekends with free-flow coffee and loose-leaf teas. Or chill with jazzy tunes and their espresso martini in hand.
Really good soft shell crab. The salmon sashimi with coriander sauce is a blast. Finish the dinner with a scoop of pineapple-shosu sorbet, astringent and refreshing. A bit pricy but very good service.
Whatever you do, you gotta get the saute mushrooms! it is totally amazing! Wagyu Beef steak is a must, and for pasta, Bolognese, spanner crab and Goat cheese tortellini are the go! Chicken is amazing!

Best arancini I have had, the Cavatelli is amazing. Great for sharing and the tira mi su comes out for you to serve yourself.

Try the smaller bar for great coffee and breakfast, lunch or dinner. They make all their own bread and pastries.
Zucchini flower was good. Gin gin mule, lamb ribs and poached chicken was a little boring
Worth the 30 minute wait. Cured meats are exceptional in particular the truffle salami. The Polenta is a good choice to have with your balls.
Get the Goan Fish Curry. Massive prawns, mussels, (somehow) crispy skin barramundi, and amazing flavor.
This little gem of a restaurant does an express dinner from 5-6pm (out by 7) and will serve you 1 entree plus 3 mains for 2 people at 50 bucks! Get the pork belly... Amazballs.
