    The omakase chef's choice menu was delightful. Everything we had was very good. Probably the best place around to try different sakes (there's an optional add-on sake tasting with the omakase, too).

    The whole tasting menu was great. The chicken meatballs, gyoza, Boris and the pickles were all great. And a beautiful view!

    LOVE Izanami! Mary Beth was our server. Loved her care, friendliness and suggestions. She's a gem! The food (lobster tempura, croquettes, fries, tuna tacos) and sake flights were outstanding.

    Delightful and calming ,, the staff is super cool and relaxed,, most everything is fermented and delicious ,, save room for green tea ice cream,, oh yeah the over pour saki for dessert was fun

    You know when it's so good you do a happy dance on your seat?! Amazing: pork ribs, miso sea bass, black noodles. Meh: gyoza w mole. Great service & atmosphere. Lovely ✨

    Really great Japanese food. You can wear your kimono from the spa to the restaurant which is fun. Good sake selection as well

    It's inside and associated with Ten Thousand Waves. It's on OpenTable. A bit pricy, but good food. And you can wear your Yukata to eat there inbetween your SPAs:D

    Decent food, although rice and veg arrived only after I finished my steak (which was overcooked). Beautiful setting.

    Food was solid, but certainly fell short of expectations considering the James Beard nomination and the price. Service was interminably slow (first course arrived one hour after reservation).
