The nightjet is a very comfortable way to travel by train. If you book a 2-person compartment with your partner, you have quite some personal space and the train stops repeatedly so you can sleep well

Authentic Italian staff; we came without a reservation, but la mamma took good care of us. Delicious food, served quite fast, friendly staff.
If you can, buy your ticket online, then you can also choose the sunset time at no extra cost! And you don't have to queue for hours. Spectacular ride. 20 people, but enough space to move around.
We ordered a mix of starters and small items to share and could try a variety of different dishes this way. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, service was fast and food was ok.
If you can, book a guided tour (we did via AirBnB). 2 hours history, food testing, visits to a book store, the TCM pharmacy. Very interesting background to an amazing part of the city.
