- Honghui Yu12월 18, 2018The pizza here is delicious. I recommend coming here with a small group and sharing a few different pies to try the most toppings, although their ricotta is my favorite.좋아요 - 1주 전
- Mike Singleton4월 25, 2014Authentic, original pizza. If you see a line outside don't be scared away, it's about 15 minutes for every 10 people. Also look out for the signed Pete Rose jersey!좋아요 - 1주 전
- dara lynne1월 25, 2014I'm a native New Yorker & incredibly snobby about pizza. BELIEVE THE HYPE, this place is great! You won't need it, but don't be afraid to ask for some Parm (not on the table). Only fail? Nast bathrooms좋아요 - 1주 전
- Sol12월 31, 2018Classic pies in a grungy setting. Great for a casual night with friends. Try to avoid the tourists by going on a weeknight.
- John's gets their meat toppings fresh from Faicco's, the Italian butcher down the block. Get sausage pizza here, trust me.
- JP Obando1월 6, 2019Great service! Simple menu! Just get the pizza, no matter what. Pitchers of beer for $22. And worth the wait if there’s a line. Best pie pizza in town!
- Absolutely my favorite pizza place in NYC. Great service and the quality of their food is consistent and great. I like this better than Grimaldi's.
- Celena Chan8월 3, 2015Absolutely delicious thin crust pizza. We ordered a salad and one pie for two people and had the pie split in half w/ two different combos. Everyone gets what they want!
- Francis Alvarez1월 7, 2023The traditional and the boom, both lacks on flavor (roasted tomatoes are very good), the meat lovers pie has the flavor but’s nothing extraordinary Will recommend if u hungry, close n there’s no line.
- Jonathan Faccento8월 11, 2017Cheese slice 8.8, meatball 9.0. Tastes like Joe's but with better sauce. They don't serve slices, which meant I almost ate the entire pie. Was in and out before the dinner rush, great pizza.
- Luis Angel Rodríguez3월 29, 2015La clásica pizza neoyorquina, lugar existe desde 1929 y la verdad se nota por su forma de hacer pizzas
- Marc Mayer2월 21, 2015Real solid pizza. Sometimes it takes a bit for your pie to come out, but it's a million times better than any instant gratification dollar slice joint. Patience is a virtue. Especially with pizza.
- Louis Matta8월 2, 2015Classic pizza place. If you're a one-slicer type of person this is not your jam. No slices all pies, but one bite and you won't regret it.
- Stephen Gates9월 8, 2013If you look up NYC pizza in the dictionary there is a picture of John's Pizza. Be sure to try the coal fired pizza and the sausage sandwich.
- Cole Kennedy10월 22, 2018It has a reputation for being the best for a reason. (Note that I'm not saying it's the best, because choosing the best pizza in New York is a fool's errand.)
- Simple cheese pizza + Caesar salad + carafe of red wine = perfection!
- Patrick Lawson9월 30, 2019Definitely worth a visit. Watch them make your pizza in front of you and fire it off. Delicious.
- Elizabeth8월 21, 2015There is a reason it is always named as one of the best pizza places. It's crowded though so come early or expect to wait. They only take cash.
- Doroulini5월 19, 2018Freshly baked pizza! We ordered the large pepperoni and it was amazing! Old classic decoration.
- Renee T5월 6, 2015Our favorite spot for a slice. Coal-fired-brick-oven-cheese-&-sausage-light-sauce. Yum!! Line out the door moves quickly, so get in it.
- Destination: Anywhere & Everywhere8월 22, 2013While I love all the toppings keeping it simple is the way to go you get to taste the flavors on a crispy slice (sometimes the everything pizza turns soggy)
- Buford Barnes5월 24, 2012Established 1929 and continuously operated. One of the only coal pizza ovens in NYC. As a friend who grew up nearby says, "they have a talent for making burnt pizza and flat cola taste magical."
- Tim Vetter2월 17, 2012One of the few remaining NYC coal oven pizzerias (along with Patsy's & Totonno), where the burn, at 200 Fahrenheit higher than a wood oven, contributes a very special character to the crust. 자세히 보기
- FoodtoEat7월 27, 2012Some of the best pizza in the Big Apple! Stick with the classic cheese pie, with heavenly margarita sauce! Cash only though, but that's how they keep their prices down!
- New York Post5월 13, 2015Lou Reed's partner Laurie Anderson tells us he liked the Margherita here. "When you use the right mozzarella, it’s amazing." 자세히 보기
- Meela Dudley7월 5, 2012First time trying the "best pizza in NYC," apparently going at 10 pm on the fourth of July is the best way to beat the "crazy" lines. No AC, sit at a table with a fan. Seriously is the best pizza.
- Carol3주 전Always a line, but it’s overhyped. If you wanna try it, make sure you know which way the line goes. Someone randomly followed our group to the side and the poor guy lost his spot in the real line
- New York Habitat10월 26, 2011Brick oven cheesiness. Another one of NYC's best spots to get a pizza. They don't do slices so either come here with some friends or be prepared to eat an entire pie by yourself!
- Katy Verhoeven9월 11, 2014Pizza made in stone brick oven, was one of the best I ever had, good music, greate ambiance, cool pictures of famous people who come there
- Carlos Russo10월 30, 2017Seriously can't miss John's of Bleecker. Amazing and authentic NY pizza. One of our favorite spots in the city.
- Mathieu Vincelette5월 4, 2015Best pie on Bleeker! Try it with any topping you like. The also have yuengling.
- Elisa2월 10, 2019Lineup is worth it, waited about 20-30m during peak time. You can also order to go. Margherita so good. Meatballs are decent but nothing special.
- Harish Hoon1월 29, 2015Simple and fresh. I know people come from all over the world to try pizza in New York City. They often go to Lombardi's but should really come here instead!
- FoodSherpas.com8월 21, 2011Considered by many to be the best pizza in New York, making it's case to be one of the best on the planet! TIP: No slices available at John's, so bring your appetite.
- Joseph Stahl12월 27, 2013Absolutely great pizza. Crust is fantastic and ingredients are high quality. Try to sit in the side room to watch your pizza being made.
- Village Voice2월 17, 2011Get the black olive and sausage pie-The loamy fennel sausage is freshly made, the tomatoes bright tasting, the canned olives saline, and all the flavors come together deliciously!
- GabiotaSk5월 23, 2018Best pizza in NYC!! I’ve been here a long time ago and came back today. Pizza still tastes as good as I remember!
- Jarel Hill8월 1, 2018So good! Classic ny slice. Ricotta with basil was my favorite. Meatball was second then pepperoni

- Ina Li3월 5, 2016The long established pizzeria in west village. Long line, long wait and cash on. Pizzas are good and simple
- Amanda DeSapri10월 16, 2012Great pizza pie NY style! Limited selection of beer, bass is very tame IPA, a buttery beer!
- Danae Simmons12월 14, 2014Asked the server what I had to have. His answer was "pepperoni, garlic and fresh basil." It did not disappoint!! Worth any wait.
- sean2월 15, 2015You can watch tourists wait in line for this place across the street from Keste which actually has pretty great pizzas and salads.
- Tarik Hart1월 17, 2015If you don't want to wait for a table with the tourists, get it to go and you'll have it within twenty minutes.
- This is a controversial opinion but for a better slice keep walking up to Bleecker Street Pizza. Otherwise just turn the corner and get a dollar slice by the subway.
