Katrina Peralta: With so many food options, walk thru the entire market before deciding on what you want. It gets really crowded on weekends so you may want to plan on taking your food up to the High Line to eat.
Katrina Peralta: A gelato treat like you probably haven't tried before. The gelato is on a stick and you have have it "topped" with various toppings or dipped in chocolate... or both!
Katrina Peralta: If you are going to visit a Shake Shack, this is your best bet. The line usually isn't crazy long and there's a nice courtyard area you can sit and eat at. A good option before/after visiting the Met.

Katrina Peralta: I don't know that this place really needs a tip. But avoid walking the perimeter so that you aren't bothered by the annoying tourist trap crap.
