Alemu Kochere, a washed Yirgacheffe (Ethiopia) bean, has a more understated mouth than most Yirgs. The cup has a lime tone in the mouth with subdued acidity on a Chemex filter. Light body; fair aroma.
This year's iteration of the Tribute blend is definitely dark. The taste has a complex body featuring darker tones such as watery peach. This tone is muddied by a smoky, earthy mouth. Nice simple mix.
