    One of the best yet least known brunch spots in the city. You can walk in here most days, get a fantastic meal and be in and out within 30 minutes. Turns pretty fancy for dinner, but well worth it.

    unbelievably delicious dinner! the ham hock appetizer was super tasty & I had a religious experience with the polenta (+ homemade ricotta, squash blossoms & unicorn tears). also, rose = best server!

    A great brunch spot that's rarely as busy as the other Mission options. Ask for an order of their potatoes with your meal (they're not on the menu).

    Come for the food, but don't hold your breath for good service. And definitely don't ask for wine advice. Overheard the waiter speculate that rose was red wine and white wine mixed together. Yikes!

    Everything on the constantly fluctuating menu is great. Sit facing the kitchen to watch the chefs work. Supplement your meal with pastries and coffee from Knead Patisserie in the back.

    The menu is constantly changing based upon what's in season from only local farms. This means the food is always fresh, tasty and highly creative.

    Try the Farm Egg Scramble - Another awesome egg dish featuring fresh veggies and tomatillo. They love tomatillo in SF and I love them for that.

    Menu changes often so don't get attached to a particular dish. Their bread is awesome though. Charred on the grill -- crunchy but not tooth-destroying.

    Feel every bit like the self-satisfied San Franciscan you are when your out of town guest declares that was the best brioche she has ever had in her life.

    Try the Corn beef Hash Breakfast - An unexpected hit. The beef is slow cooked with beets and extremely tender. I was expecting more traditional, but I was pleasantly surprised.

    For big groups you can do 2 courses for $35 a person and they'll bring at least 6 different dishes for the group

    Try the tasting menu. 2 or 3 serving options. They'll handle any restrictions or preferences with aplomb.

    Corned beef has a lot of very nice complementary flavors, but the dish as a whole is oversalted.

    The slow-cooked eggs are perfection! Go there on a Saturday or Sunday morning around 9 or 10 for an unhurried delish brunch!

    They also serve dinner (with table service) which is good but not as good as their brunch.
