- One of the best yet least known brunch spots in the city. You can walk in here most days, get a fantastic meal and be in and out within 30 minutes. Turns pretty fancy for dinner, but well worth it.
- Claudia A.8월 11, 2012unbelievably delicious dinner! the ham hock appetizer was super tasty & I had a religious experience with the polenta (+ homemade ricotta, squash blossoms & unicorn tears). also, rose = best server!
- A great brunch spot that's rarely as busy as the other Mission options. Ask for an order of their potatoes with your meal (they're not on the menu).
- Karla8월 30, 2015Come for the food, but don't hold your breath for good service. And definitely don't ask for wine advice. Overheard the waiter speculate that rose was red wine and white wine mixed together. Yikes!
- Everything on the constantly fluctuating menu is great. Sit facing the kitchen to watch the chefs work. Supplement your meal with pastries and coffee from Knead Patisserie in the back.
- The menu is constantly changing based upon what's in season from only local farms. This means the food is always fresh, tasty and highly creative.
- Nick Rovisa9월 30, 2012Try the Farm Egg Scramble - Another awesome egg dish featuring fresh veggies and tomatillo. They love tomatillo in SF and I love them for that.
- Kathy 👩🏻💻 Lin8월 16, 2014Menu changes often so don't get attached to a particular dish. Their bread is awesome though. Charred on the grill -- crunchy but not tooth-destroying.
- Feel every bit like the self-satisfied San Franciscan you are when your out of town guest declares that was the best brioche she has ever had in her life.
- Doc Pop11월 20, 2011Try the Corn beef Hash Breakfast - An unexpected hit. The beef is slow cooked with beets and extremely tender. I was expecting more traditional, but I was pleasantly surprised.
- magda w.8월 31, 2014Great roasted chicken w/ seeds, jualapenos and grapes. Delicious pâté coming w/ market board!
- Bri Espi4월 26, 2014For big groups you can do 2 courses for $35 a person and they'll bring at least 6 different dishes for the group
- I bring my computer on days when I'm overworked and have a delicious, indulgent pick-me-up of a lunch. Every bite makes me happy!
- Seema Kumar2월 13, 2013The caramelized sun holes were amazing! Highly recommended! Enjoyed the trout and pickles as well.
- Mike Harkey6월 11, 2014Try the tasting menu. 2 or 3 serving options. They'll handle any restrictions or preferences with aplomb.
- Tim Golfball6월 7, 2013Really liked the flavoring and freshness of the food, however would be great if they eased up on the salt and oils
- Awesome brunch that doesn't take FOREVER. Try the trout if you get the chance.
- Daniel Wilson4월 28, 2013Corned beef has a lot of very nice complementary flavors, but the dish as a whole is oversalted.
- Susan Loh2월 13, 2011Amazing food with a fresh new menu daily. Pricey for what you get but quality and vibe is worth it.
- Usually a short or non-existent wait for brunch, but you generally need to reserve for dinner.
- Sister Mable Syrup6월 7, 2010The slow-cooked eggs are perfection! Go there on a Saturday or Sunday morning around 9 or 10 for an unhurried delish brunch!
- Rachael Byrne3월 9, 2012Pastry cart with four barrel coffee in the morning is perfect for fast and delicious week-day breakfast
- Anything with eggs is magical. No line if you saunter in late for brunch at 1!
- They also serve dinner (with table service) which is good but not as good as their brunch.
- The asparagus and poached egg brioche is amazing! Hopefully it's on the menu during your next visit...
- Laura Merling11월 6, 2010Try the avocado and tomato sandwich - very tasty! And the pastries are amazing.
- Best value fancy food in the city. If this were in nyc itd be packed, but here it's easy to walk in
