Beautiful place with lots of green, running and biking trails, quiet spots, a zoo, the gorgeous Galleria with Bernini's masterpieces, fresh air... What more could I want? Oh, I also had good company.
Despite we swapped room two times, we had a pleasant anf quiet stay in Rome and some delicious breakfasts. Wifi worked flawlessly.
Nothing to see here (unless you're interested in the horrible monument to the pope) but buses and train to take; and memories.

A nice view from the Roman Forum, the ruins are a fascinating hint at a magnificent architecture.
Perhaps one of my favourite places on Earth. It felt sublime to walk among history and art. And the views are amazing. And the green areas quiet.
The archs are really one of the spotlights of the Roman Forum. This one, despite having a single archway, is memorable and monumental.
Jumping the line at the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and entering for free at the Galleria Borghese was well worth the expense. If it looks closed just open the door :D
It's monumental that it's still noticeable despite being so close to the Colosseo.

A great piece of Byzantine architecture. Entrance is free but you need to pay for access to each section other than tbe church.
The landmark attraction in Venice. Plenty of things to see, as well as of tourists and crap sellers getting in your way.
