One of the best views of the city of Naples, near the Certosa and castle Sant'Elmo.
Masterpieces by many artists can be seen here. My favourites are the marble sculptures by Bernini. Book and be punctual or you'll have to wait for the next turn to enter (that's up to two hours!)
A beautiful park with trails good for running, walking and biking. The villa itself was closed to the public.
A lovely and usually quiet place. You can see many animals in the water, especially ducks, fishes and boyfriends trying to impress the lady by not being able to row
The cloister (the building was once a monastery) was transformed into a zen garden for something related to the Biennale. Very cute.
Once again, I was only able to admire the exterior of the place. And I liked what I saw.
A very comfortable place. Good value for our money, since the breakfast was included and delicious. Just a little far from the city center but it's near a bus stop.
Probably the Italian museum par excellence. Caravaggio, Bernini, Botticelli, Dürer, Rubens: what could one ask for more? Perhaps there's too much to see all at once.
Another building I did not have time to pay a proper visit on my last day in Venice. The baroque (?) façade is beautiful.
Beautiful place that I only saw passing by while getting the train to catch my plane back home. Next time...
While waiting for the glockenspiel, you can admire the beautiful architecture or have a bite to eat.
A cheesy and somewhat heartwarming attraction. At regular times, bells and puppets tell stories from the history of Munchen.
Greet him while you walk. He won't answer back, but that's OK. It's a statue after all.
There was no time to enjoy these and the other towers the day we were there, but they surely look good.
It's a lovely place and the service and food are good, but avoid it if you're looking for something more authentic.
Not sure what goes on inside, but the place looks cute, as the whole area in which it's located.
