Breakfast is a very special time at the Quebrada neighborhood bakeries in Arlington and Wellesley. Come and enjoy our fresh, fresh, fresh breakfast baked goods made from scratch daily, and served with Quebrada barista-brewed coffees and teas in our cafés or for take-out.

Delicately flaky and full of creamery-fresh butter and homemade goodness, we offer large and petite croissants in plain, chocolate, fruit-filled and savory varieties. They’re a delightful way to start the day, and go great with a cup of our delicious coffee or tea we bake large croissants in raspberry, cinnamon-almond, classic almond, ham and cheese and veggie-filled varieties daily.

A favorite at both breakfast and afternoon “high tea” (referred to as ‘cream tea’ or ‘devonshire tea’ in the UK), quebrada baking co. bakes currant and blueberry scones in both large and petite sizes. Scones are favorites of those who prefer a simple and lightly-sweet indulgence with a moist and satisfying full-bodied texture. Our irish soda bread, a cousin to scones, is baked fresh with light and dark raisins and caraway seed – it’s simply delightful sliced or toasted.

Our signature muffins are homemade from organically grown 100% whole-wheat flour and sweetened with honey and maple syrup. They’re delightfully moist and wholesome. Quebrada’s traditional heritage fresh-baked muffins are made from scratch with unbleached, un-bromated white flour, molasses, and cane sugar.

There’s nothing like a delicious cinnamon bun or pecan roll with your morning coffee or tea, made with our rich and flaky croissant dough and just brimming with cinnamon and raisins or pecans, they’re a delightful and yummy way to start your day. Or try our danish in raspberry, cheese, cherry-cheese, and apple varieties, lightly drizzled with a creamy glaze. And none fresher.

Quebrada baking co.’s “fresh, fresh, fresh” classic granola is unlike any you’ll find in grocery stores today. It’s been a bostonian breakfast staple for over 30 years – a signature product from our early days as a wholesale bakery to erewhon, bread and circus, and the organic food cellar.

At quebrada, challah, cardamom and irish soda breads are customer favorites. We bake plain, poppy, sesame, and raisin braided challah, and a plain challah loaf, all especially popular around the holidays. Our cinnamon bread loaf is also made from fresh challah bread dough, with just the right sweetness for toast or snacks.
