    Easily the smoothest ice cream you'll ever have. Made to order with liquid nitrogen. Their flavors are limited to two or three. Usually vanilla, chocolate, and something more... unusual.

    Ice cream frozen on the spot with liquid nitrogen, resulting in a very smooth texture. Almost as fun to watch them make it as it is to eat. Additional locations: Marina, Mission, Pacific Heights.

    This is THE best ice cream in the city. It's made to order, and so delicious, especially the tcho chocolate. They sometimes have strange flavours like lavender and olive oil.

    The chocolate is the best. The cookie dough with chocolate chip is awesome. If you're with a friend you can take one of each and switch one scoop so both of you can enjoy both tastes 😋

    Tried the cookie dough with pretzels and chocolate chips ice cream and I am happily surprised about how good, creamy, and real it tastes. Nice service and machines displayed for your pleasure

    Such a unique experience! The ice cream is perfection. I got the "cookies & cream with almonds and pretzels" and topped it off with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Wow.

    This ice cream is so yummy & they freeze it right in front of your eyes w/ modern technology (liquid nitrogen). Their chocolate is good, but if they have olive oil with lavender shortbread get it!

    Always a line outside Smitten but not too bad. I got the cookie dough with Pretzels and Chocolate chips. The two topping well blended and neither of them tasted extremely strong. Very delicious!

    Ice cream is freshly prepared using liquid nitrogen. Takes a while and it’s pricey. But it’s sooo good and the portions are very dense. Flavors change regularly.

    This is a must try place for ice cream lovers - probably in my all-time top 3. Pro tip: get the brown sugar caramel with your ice cream. Definitely worth it.

    This place puts all other creamy dreamy ding dong dinguses of ice cream joints to shame! Out of the many places I’ve tried this is the most rich and savory ice cream that San Francisco has to offer.

    A constantly rotating list of ice cream with about 4-5 choices a day. The most interesting flavor I've tried was olive oil. The texture of the ice cream is a stand-out here, impossibly smooth.

    Love the tcho chocolate. Have tried some of their other flavours like blueberry lavender, Sonoma rose, Earl grey are flavourful too

    Most delicious ice cream I have ever had in my life. It's as soft as butter! They make it on demand, right there in front of you, so that its rich in texture and flavor. Yummy!

    The Fresh Mint Chip is heavenly. Perfectly smooth and creamy, and the first taste makes you feel like you're smelling mint leaves outside on a summery day.

    Probably the best texture of any ice cream I've had. The flavors were good but not amazing. If bi-rite and these guys had a baby, there'd never be a reason to go anywhere else.

    Using only fresh & local ingredients, this is the most decadent ice cream in town! Grab a cone of on of their unique flavors like Rhubarb Crisp & then head over to Patricia's Green park to enjoy it.

    They use liquid nitrogen to freeze the ice cream and each batch is made fresh to order. Seasonal flavors all year round, so you never know what will be on the board!

    Great ice cream. Only few tastes, changing on regular basis. Definitely go for the small size if you are eating alone. Is anyways a huge portion!

    Simply the most incredible ice-cream you will ever eat. Incredibly fresh and some delicious flavours. Don't balk at the idea of queuing - it's absolutely worth it.

    Lemon Meyer Cookie was phenomenal. Also, I never thought Olive Oil would make a great ice cream topping - but it's totally amazing! Do not try their popsicles, they are neither refreshing nor sweet.

    Liquid nitrogen ice cream; is that gimmicky? Andrew vilifies them for only having non-adventurous flavors ("salted caramel! tcho chocolate!"), but the texture is quite nice.

    This beats just about any homemade ice cream you have ever had. Imagine Kelvin (the ice cream machine that is) turn milk and other ingredients into ice cream right in front of your eyes. In 1 minute!

    I ate here twice in the same day and I am only slightly ashamed. Their cones are great -- super crunchy and thick so the ice cream won't leak through the bottom.

    Salted caramel is at the perfect sweetness level. Cookie dough, though delicious, is way too sweet and rich that would ruin the entire experience.

    There's nothing gimmicky about making ice cream with liquid nitrogen when it tastes this good. The Tcho chocolate is smooth and velvety. Leave it bare, one scoop is just the right amount.
