Start at the bottom because the art is in chronological order. Discounted admission for veterans. Huge line Saturdays approaching 5pm, because you pay what you want for admission.

This museum have a great selection of contemporary art collections. The interior reminds me of an toilet roll...lol. They do carry some impressionist pieces as well.

Saturdays 5:45-7:45pm pay-what-you-wish admission. Will be crowded (so get there early) but it's also super cool to people-watch all the diverse art-lovers who pack the museum at this time.

A great piece Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. The smaller staircases exhibit emerging artist and will also take away from the hustle that can exist at times through the main walk ways.

A must see even if you don't know a thing about contemporary art. There is a small room towards lower level with a few french impressionists works. Free on Saturdays 5:45-7:45

The building is stunning and strongly to be recommended. If you can, go when there’s an exhibition you’re interested in because the main collection is pretty small.

Frank Lloyd Wright - a famous architect designed this, one of the most interesting places to view art work. This space has been transformed in many ways with interesting sculpture. Enjoy the slope!

Buy yourself a New York City Pass. It is valid for 9 days and makes going to Guggenheim cheaper. It doesn't matter if you don't like modern art the building is unreal - anyone would enjoy it.

Visit while Maurizio Cattelan's "All" is on display in the rotunda. Great opportunity to a vast collection in one place. Don't forget the free audio guide. Oh, and watch out for the bag police.

Ask the Gallery Guides (with the big "Ask Me!" buttons) about the art! Even if you don't have a specific question, ask something like, "What is going on here?" They are super smart & friendly! Do it.

Make sure to check the exhibitions in advance. During my visit half of the museum was closed. Admission was reduced, but I would have preferred full price and full museum.

1: There's no exact definition for my happiness when I saw Boccioni's two sculptures on the first floor. 2: Picasso's early works are my fave. 3: Always glad to see a Cezanne, Monet and Van Gogh<3
