Mandatory orientation

With your first visit to the gym, receive a lesson on the fundamentals of safe climbing.

2 Hour use of the gym

This daily fee entitles you to full use of the facility for 2.5 hours during normal operating hours. Rock-climbing shoes and harness

Receive a lesson/orientation and oversee safety of the children only. i.e. will not climb themselves. An adult to every 2 or 3 children required.

Admission and climbing shoes, harness, helmet; no lesson/orientation, general rules explained.

What Rocks and Ropes needs from you:‏

A minimum of 6 climbers

We recommend 4 weeks advance notice.

This gives you a better chance of getting the time and date that you want.

A 75.00 deposit to hold your spot.

This is not a surcharge, it merely holds your spot. Deposit is non-refundable if you need to cancel or change your group within 7 days of your reservation.

What you get from the BLOC:

A reserved party area with tables and chairs for up to 1.5 hours from your scheduled time. (for cake/pizza etc.)

Rocks and Ropes provides no catering, but has a refrigerator/freezer available for your needs. We do have concessions.(Energy Bars/Gatorade etc.)

Experienced instructors to teach you the skills you need to use the facility safely.

No other groups scheduled to conflict with yours.

What do I need to bring/wear?‏

All party preparations are up to you.

Everyone under 18 must have a waiver form signed by their parents.

other than that you don’t need a thing. As far as attire, shorts and a T-shirt are usually fine, We provide climbing shoes; seasonally a sweatshirt might be in order, We are not heated but that’s perfect for climbing.

Overnight “Lock-in” option

When: 8pm to 8am

Join us from 8pm to 8am with private access to our entire facility, new and fun climbing games and activities and a large screen projector for winding down the night with a movie. Our staff will provide instruction and facilitate a wide range of activities for your group. Call to make your reservation.
