C Rey1월 3, 2017Upscale neighborhood restaurant serving your American cuisine staples like burgers, mac and cheese, in addition to bigger entrees like beef stroganoff! Brunch is the best meal but be prepared to wait.
My friend and I had the baked pesto oysters. Very delicious! We both had the spinach frittata with hash browns and I had the asparagus. All had a bit too much butter on them. Service was excellent!
Isameow9월 17, 2014Missed the happy hour but got the steelhead trout and loved it. The Harissa sauce put a nice middle eastern touch and made it very unique. Also pictured is the bison burger with sweet potato fries

Nathan Wright5월 30, 2017The Lowry is hands-down my favorite brunch spot in the Twin Cities. The food is always outstanding and the Bloody Marys are spectacular. Service is always fast and friendly.
Spinach frittata is a craveable favorite along with the delicious Brown Derby and interestingly yummy Snarf! Get there before 11a for 3$ mimosas M-F!

The tempura green beans are the best! So are the cheese curds (way better than the state fair) and the tomato soup is to die for, it has cheese melted over the top! My 3 fav things to get here!
Cheese curds and the blueberry ketchup are great, the chicken wings are possibly the best I've had and they have an amazing beer selection that always changes.
The drink menu is always fun. Watch for the $6 cocktail special. Happy hour at 10p. Nice atmosphere.

I have to recommend the Bloody Mary's. The Lowry uses Svedka as the rail vodka for Bloody Mary's and the resulting drink is spicy, flavorful and powerful, but deceptively smooth.
If there is a long line for brunch on the weekends, saddle up to the bar for one of the Lowry's delicious Bloody Mary's. Careful - they are on the strong side!
Gluten-free tip: their 4-cheese mac and cheese can be made with gluten-free pasta. They also have gluten-free bread for sandwiches (like the braised beef, which is awesome).
Seriously the best chicken wings around, nice and crunchy with amazing homemade ranch for dipping. Any place with whiskey on the marquee is awesome to me. But only one of their drinks has whiskey in it? Americano is a bit bitter. Battle Cat is fun. Beer in a cocktail? Nice.
I highly recommend the grilled cheese, it's probably the best I've ever had. Skip the fires and go for the cole slaw with raisins too!!
Tyler3월 4, 2012They just put millstream back road stout on tap ... Amazing thick sweet iowa stout, try it. We ate at the bar, staff was amazing, very friendly and super helpful with avoiding a food allergy.

LOVE the Peter's burger: caramelized onion, egg, ketchup, and mustard pickle relish...mmmm!! And the Oysters Rockefeller are pretty amazing too.

I wanted the hash to have hash browns for hash day. There is no hash of any kind in the veggie hash.
