At the first US outpost of this Italian gelato shop, you'll find excellent gelato in sweet and savory flavors using local, organic produce, plus baked goods and some savory items.
Can't really think of any other spot in NYC that has gelato this good. You kinda feel like you stumbled across a cute little shop in Italy (except unfortunately you're in Park Slope). Get gianduja.
Real deal Italian gelati. The flavors are amazing, and at times unexpected. Gianduia (chocolate & nutella), Ricotta e Amaretti, Saffron and Chamomile, and Arugula with Orange Zest are my favorites!
Window-service only Gelato spot in the heart of Park Slope, very lively and vibrant corner during the 5th Av Open Street... unique and funky homemade flavours that change daily!!!
this local neighborhood spot has some of the best gelato I’ve had in nyc. Up there with Grom, and the peach rivals Fatamorgana’s if you’ve been there (in Rome).
This Italian-originating restaurant, cafe, bakery and gelato shop, with beautiful design and a pretty, peacefulbackyard, has landed on Park Slope's 5th Ave. The house roasted espresso is gnarly tho.
Amazing! Had the hazelnut, but tasted basil & pesto which would probably go perfectly with the roasted eggplant that I also tried. Great little garden in the back. Perfect date/after-dinner spot!
Try one of the savory gelato favors. And don't miss the great, non-paralyzingly-enormous (like Eataly) selection of quality imported Italian specialties inside.
This place is so much more than a gelato shop. Incredible local, organic food and fabulous coffee and wine as well. All in a super cute atmosphere... Gotta try it.
Stopped for a small desert when mesmerized by the possibilities and my lack of potential. I asked the staff to pick out something for a friend and I. She fell in love with L'Albero ....Perfect.
Absolutely amazing gelato. Almond milkgelato was surprisingly delicious! Hazelnut all the way. And finally found pistachio ice cream that beats Jacques Torres' in dumbo!
Crazy, this is the only location outside of Italy. Favs include: Seme Panini, Goat Cheese with Dark Chocolate or Pistachiogelati, and Sbrisolona (almondcookie)
Surrounded by high walls on two sides, L'Albero Dei Gelati's secluded back garden is quiet and peaceful and sports a cunning garden table along with standard umbrella cafe tables.
